ILLEGAL DUMPS IN TOURIST DESTINATIONS

Wonderful tourist destination, Island of Pag in Croatia, is full of unique beaches, hills, viewpoints... And also full of illegal waste dumps.

We can find such a dump on the local road with a wonderful viewpoint (see photo). It is full of building material, but there is also a lot of plastic packaging, bags, tires...

This wild junkyard is located between two tourist villages, each about 0.5 kilometres away from the dump.
Main income of villagers of both villages is tourism. When people try to restore, build and manage their apartments (which they rent to tourists), they just transport all the junk and trash to such junkyards which are only half of the kilometre away from the same apartment.

I think that all further comments are completely unnecessary.
